I am a researcher based in Los Angeles, California and the Director for Research and Programs for the UCLA Center for Critical Internet Inquiry. My research focuses on the intersections between technology and evidence, internet subcultures and internet history.

Before joining the team at C2i2, I spent three-years at the University of Pittsburgh teaching and developing curriculum within the newly formed School of Computing and Information. Prior to my time at University of Pittsburgh, I earned my PhD in the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA as well as my Masters in Library and Information Studies with a focus on Archival Studies.

I am committed to an expansive understanding of research impact and am passionate about working across institutional and disciplinary boundaries. My published work can be found in Computational Culture, Preservation, Digital Technology & Culture and various edited collections.
