About

I am a PhD student in Information Studies at UCLA. I hold an M.L.I.S.  with a specialization in archives from UCLA and a B.A. in Literature and Gender Studies from Pitzer College. My dissertation utilizes mixed methods to look at the infrastructure of classified information, specifically the ways in which technologies that produce, transfer and store information have complicated public records and their attendant policies.

I also engage in collaborative research around issues of community archives, radical and activist documentation and information cultures. I am currently an editor for InterActions the UCLA Journal for Education and Information Studies and have worked in various archival institutions throughout Southern California since 2010.
